When I think about the manifold aspects and details of God’s Creation, I am stunned by the fact that everything God creates is unique in itself. Always.

There may be two animals from the same species sharing the same outward features with one another, they will still differ in some aspect: in character or appearance, voice, social role or more.

There might be a specific type of plant sharing the same outward features with another plant, one will still never be able to replace the existence of the other. They will both exist.

The existence of God’s creation can never be annulled by the presence of another creation of God!

This is applicable to all of God’s creation, especially human beings, the very creation of God ordained to depict His image.

If I think about the fact that every finger print, every iris, every tongue, every ear, every voice, every face is unique in its appearance and pattern, it reveals God’s intention to portray the uniqueness of each of His Children.

If I am aware that siblings originating from the same parents, created from the same gene pool still differ in their personality and outward appearance, I am beholding a shadow of God’s Design of His Family.

If I know that even identical, monozygotic twins sharing the same genetic information, are unique in all aspects described above, it emphasises the fact that there is no creature God creates that is like the other.

Everything God creates has its own purpose of existence and is necessary!

You have a purpose!

In my assessment, comparison derives from the lack of knowledge a person has concerning their value and worth in an area of their perception. If a person is unaware of their resources and positive attributes, they will ascribe more value to a person they esteem better in a personal area of ,often sudden perceived, “weakness”. It is not only esteeming another person higher in status because of specific attributes that seem outstanding, it is often simultaneously the neglect of discovering, appreciating and growing your own qualities. Not rarely, the perception of someone’s qualities lead people to ascribe a general perfection to that person. That is delusional as each person has “weaknesses” in one or the other way.

The talent of someone else should never blind you from your own!

You have talents too!

It is less about the strengths and gifts of another person, and more about discovering and valuing your own!

There is a change of perspective when you choose to behold yourself and just look at another person.

Beholding implies an active and ongoing focus on something with an increased attention to study and analyse it. It also indicates intentionality, a willingness and an honest interest to find out more about the object in sight.

Looking conveys a meaning of a neutral curiosity towards the object in sight.

Comparison tells you what you are not and “can never be” .

It is more important to know who you are and to become the best version of yourself than to constantly remind yourself of who you are not.

There comes a liberty with the choice to no longer try to measure up with someone else and to rather focus on personal gifts and talents that come naturally and without much effort to you.

God’s Will has never been for us to become better and higher in value than another person. Each of His Creation have equal value and worth before Him!

There is no respect of person before Him!

He rather longs for souls to find their true identity in Him to become who they have been called to be and to then freely share what they have been freely given!

Share what you have and allow God to multiply it, and enjoy what is given to you by others!

Do not be intimidated by the light of someone else and rather find your spot, stand next to them and shine your own light!

The more light shines, the greater it becomes and the more it can be revealed.

“Your lives light up the world. For how can you hide a city that stands on a hilltop?”

Matthew 5:14 TPT

A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden!

It is God’s Will for us to shine TOGETHER! To help and encourage one another to individually shine brighter! To gladly and freely receive from another and to gladly and freely give to one another!

We are not to shine each other out or to shine against one another but TO SHINE WITH ONE ANOTHER!

I would like to ask you if there is a person you admire?

If not, try and find one! A person that inspires you and that uses their talent to share it with the world. A person that gives you a healthy desire and motivation to become a better version of yourself.

If yes, make sure you know why and what you admire about that person.

You can have more than one person you admire for different reasons!

The reason of your admiration usually indicates a passion you have that the given person is already walking in. It reveals a talent, a gift and burden within you that seeks to be expressed!

It can also be something you admire to have or do in order to maximise your time and effort using your own talents and gifts.

What is something you are generally interested in, something that does not take any effort for you to know more about?

What is something you are known for doing, something more than one person has already positively expressed towards you?

That is your talent! That is what leads you to the office of your gift!

Make use of it!

Study it from different perspectives! Inspect it from every side, find out how it can be used and what different approaches people choose to walk in it. What is your favourite approach, which way speaks most to you, which way doesn’t and why? Are you inspired? How?

The aim should never be to copy someone, but to rather use your inspiration as supporting hands to help you find your balance in the pursuit of your gift and personal interpretation of your purpose.

BE YOU!

Lastly, I would like to add that it can be possible to share a gift, talent or ministry with someone else. There are different gifts, talents and ministries as there are also mutual gifts, talents and ministries. God has called many to eventually do the same thing but He has given each person a unique approach to do it. Every person has an individual calling!

Someone told me once in a moment where I was in doubt concerning my calling:

“Even if it is the same thing God has laid on your heart that you have seen someone else already do, there is a uniqueness about your project because it is done by YOU. It reaches different people because God has ordained these people to feed on your talents and your gifts.”

That really helped me to understand that God may choose many to share the same ministry, but still allows each manifestation to be unique, different, needed and accurate because each person is unique and because He has provided a specific and individual room for each and every gift to manifest!

Like identical twins that still differ in the appearance of their finger print, iris, tongue, ear, voice, facial features and character, it may look alike but it is not the same!

It may exist but it will never occupy the space and room of existence for your own vision. It will never nullify your purpose and effect to the world and God’s Kingdom!

Both are to exist because both have a specific purpose and specific aim.

Nothing God creates is ever the same.

If you would think about the manifold aspects and details of God’s Creation, you would be stunned by the fact that everything God creates is unique in itself. Always.

So fear not!

As God asked Moses, I would like to ask you:

"What is that in your hands?"

Give it to God and let Him instruct you how to use it!

Be YOU!

Made manifest and unafraid.

This is one of the most encouraging pieces I have ever read. Properly supported by scripture and carefully articulated. An amazing piece of work once again!!🙌
